Sneak Peak : New Colourful Bracelets for the Spring

I can't wait for Spring!
Punxsutawney Phil, the famous groundhog from Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania
did not see his shadow on groundhog day, which means it will be an early spring for us.
However, so far it does not seem that way here in the nothern hemisphere of New Jersey.
Maybe he was wrong or maybe I am just being very impatient ???

So to warm myself up, I am thinking about sunshine and all the colourful flowers
and I made these colourful memory bracelets
which will be available in my etsy shop very soon.

I hope you enjoy the bracelets photos
I wish you all have a warm day and thank you for stopping by!

Kreasiku's Customer Appreciation Photos

I received these photos from my Etsy shop's customers.

Emi created this pretty necklace with the Amber beads she bought from my shop.

Michele sent me a photo of her wearing the dark honey, butterscoth Amber & pink rose quartz memory bracelet. It looks really nice on her wrist.

Thank you so much Emi & Michelle for sending me these pictures.
I really appreciate them.

Also Happy Valentine for all of you!

Blog Walking Result #1 : Pretty Origami Heart Bookmarks

Blog Walking has been my hobby for a few years now, well basically since I've started blogging in 2007. I blog-walk mostly to the creative arts and crafts, fashion & cooking blogs. There are so many creative people out there with so many creative ideas that always amazed me.
Last weekend I found this very nice blog with a very cute name: HowAboutOrange that posted an origami tutorial making a cute bookmarks (tutorial link here).
So today I made my own bookmarks from left over christmas gift wrapping papers.

A Visit to "Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture" and A Memorable Dinner

This post was originally written in November 2012. I was writing it when the power suddendly went out due to damages from the hurricane Sandy. Then I was too busy doing lots of thing for the holiday and almost forget about this post. So I rewrote and finished it today. Here it is ...

Sunday before the hurricane Sandy hit the north east, we went to the Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture in Pocantico Hills, NY. We were invited for a special lunch-dinner by my stepson at the Blue Hill at the Stone Barn Restaurant which is located in the same place. He works there as a sous chef.

We came early so we have time to walk around the farm, barn and the center's building. The place is just beautiful.

First Sewing Project

Finally Santa gave me a sewing machine for Christmas!!!...Thank you so much my dear Santa :-))
I love it and have so many plans to do with this new toy :)
Before starting any project I practiced sewing straight stiching and all kinds of stiches. After feeling confident, yesterday I made my first sewing project!
